I built a logic of maximizing south facade area as one of my multi objectives and got some problem when I tried to make polylines as planars(option#1 in the file). Therefore, I used 4point surfaces command(option#2 in the file) and it worked. I don't know why the polylines -planars logic didn't work out.

I uploaded my files.. If you guys have some time, please look at it and give me some clue for this issue.

Won,

I took a look at your files. However, I would like to know what are you trying to achieve exactly so I can help you. I realized that your "area" component is giving you 112 values. You need to mass add them to end up with "one" numeric value. Prior to "mass adding" them, make sure you flatten the list (you can use "flatten" component).

I am studio now but you seem like attending the meeting. Based on your comments, I finally figure out how to get the total sum of facade area. As you mention before, 'flatten' and 'mass add' worked pretty well! Thank you for the comments. I didn't realize my definition has this critical issue. :)

To get the planar component to work, you need closed polylines.

Be sure to set the C input on PLine to "True". This will close the polyline….

I also found duplication in your facade vertices. I dunno why you're using the same list of points 3 times; why you're not creating 3 different lists with different vertices. There is an easier way of achieving what you want.
